The concept of exclusivity has always made me laugh. Aside from the countless billions of people it excludes, it is never exposed for what it really is. A simple subsciption ploy to insure the continued growth of any given church. The Church of Rome maintained it for centuries and used the premise to justify the obliteration of indigenous peoples wherever they encountered them but the real funny part comes later in history. Each group that advances this notion had to manufacture it's own premise at some point after the Church of Rome did. Some as recently as in the past 200 years, which unfortunately makes their little club even more exclusive. Do people with this mindset ever ask themselves the simplest of questions? . . . like what are the odds that their little group has it right, while everyone else on the planet (in all of history) has it wrong? It's embarrassingly shallow thinking.
