Hi Saul_Relative, I too, was moved by Anderson's touching live reporting

from Tallmansville during the Sago tragedy.  Like you, I agree that only when good reporting such as Anderson's takes place and the facts are out will we begin to find the answers.

Well done, MandaLee. An excellent post. Anderson Cooper would
be proud.  What is telling in this current bent toward mine safety reform is that the last time anything was done of major import to enhance mining safety was after the mine disaster in Farmington, West Virginia, killed 78 miners in 1968.  On the Anderson Cooper side, I was impressed with his live reporting from Tallmansville and the subsequent reports on McCloy.  I, too, am an admirer.
