I'm glad you find my blog educational!

As to treating cat colds, unless they stop eating or are producing yellow/green goo from their eyes or nose, we basically treat symptomatically (it at all).

You've given me fodder for a new blog on cat colds! Thanks :)

koriani,
Thanks for writing this blog.  I'm always on the lookout to learn as much as possible.

My family and I have cared for cats for over 30 years now.  We've picked up some knowledge along the way.

By the way, what is your treatment for a cat cold?

Well, we do felines only at our clinic...

In fact, there is only one vet out of many in our community that claims to do exotic animals and I wouldn't give him the time of day.  We've seen too many of his patients on an emergency basis because he is more into politics than veterinary medicine and his top priority is to make a buck.

Okay, nuff said...

As to your spider's back pain, you might ask SpitFire70 if she's ever delt with spiders (ha ha...) or knows anyone who has.

I guess you could try EFT on him/her using the surrogate method.  It's easy to learn at http://www.emofree.com

I, too, feel more deeply for animals than I do for people.  And, thanks to our wonderful doctor, I can safely say we have the best success rate with cats (since that is all we treat) than anyone else.

Our doctor is so dedicated and knowledgeable, especially since she has made cats her specialty, that miracles do, indeed, abound at our clinic.

Does your hospital treat tarantulas?

Or just the traditional animals (dogs, cats, gerbils, kinkajous, etc)?   Cause the vets here "claim" they are unable to treat "exotic pets" (which seems like a form of discrimination to me).

At any rate, I'm concerned that one of my tarantulas suffers from back pain.

Now that's a job that takes someone strong and warm and wonderful. I don't think I could witness animals dying everyday, people yeah...I hate them for the most part...lol...j/k....but you must also witness many miracles at your hands.
