Writer, they're about the same, just different stages --

sorry to get technical.  It's a career hazzard.

But yes, you've made some excellent diagnoses!!!

Alzheimers?
I'd diagnose it as outright severe dementia, with a strong case of paranoid schizophrenia thrown in.

Ah, Justsouno, I believe you're right.
And the internet . . . and filibustering . . . and unnecessarily making Supreme Court Justice nominee's wife cry . . . .

blogflogger, you just can't win for losing, eh?

Don't you know better than to argue with two committed Republicans???

Why, there's nothing worse, unless perhaps it's arguing with two committed Democrats.

Sorry to offend.  I guess we're just incorigible (sp???)

JanesOpinion and Corbin
...and if they HADN'T been back in their own districts for the holiday you could call them bigots. This is one blog I won't be coming back to read.

Yeah, Corbin, they play the race card oh so well.

That being the case, blogflogger,
don't they own calendars?  Didn't they know that MLK was coming up at the time their votes were to be cast?  Yet they chose to take the one week delay at the beginning of the hearings, instead of after.  Actually, I don't think they're demented; rather, I think they're crafty.  They planned it this way to take advantage of the whole situation which, as usual, is nothing new.

Yep....some of them had card games on Monday...."race card" games, that is.......

Too many were in their home states for MLK events and holiday
"A number of our members are going to be home for Martin Luther King events this weekend, will not be back on time on Tuesday and so they will exercise their rights" to delay the vote, said the committee's ranking Democrat, Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont.
