that bothers me...

That's a difficult situation
for you to be in and I think all you can do is monitor it. Hitting it head-on won't work if the person is devious and you'll probably never then get the evidence you need. I thought the note in your handbag was a really good idea. As you say, God sees and God knows - He'll guide you.
