I know that's true, JanesOpinion. My own doctor shies away from
natural remedies and discourages them if mentioned by the patient, as do the other doctors that I have worked with through the years.

Yeah wacky, there's never a downtrend in those, eh?
Pretty disgusting. I'm not for socialized medicine, but I'm all about reforming medicine as it's practiced in general.  A lot could change.  Will it?  I'm jaded. I doubt it, in part thanks to all the powerful lobbyists in Washington and the drug companies.

And Taps, the maddening thing is that I could get in trouble
if I order a natural substance for one of my residents instead of a drug and don't follow the excepted "standards of care."  So for those who want to go natural, they're afraid to because of the power of the drug companies who seem to be in cahoots with the FDA.

I read that too, JanesOpinion, and it did not surprise me a bit. Isn't
that pitiful.    Nothing shocks us anymore because we know how people are when it comes to wanting money.   That is not exactly called a scam, I guess, but its worse than the ones that are legally called scams because people die from health issues like diabetes..

Yup, Doc, I would concur.
The pharmaceutical company is THRILLED with all the "new" diseases being discovered.  All they have to do is come up with a magic pill that will suppress the symptoms (never curing the disease of course) and make them filthier richer (pardon my terrible grammar).

On Infomercials - Kevin Troudeau addressed this Issue
He has been sued because he said that doctors name a disease for the pharmacutical companies to get money, that there are cures that they do not want us to know, for if they told us of cures there would be no need for doctors!!
