I Agree Jane
I agree, Jane, that young unmarried girls in a family way are mistreated by Christians and non-Christians alike.  I really do have much empathy for them.  I agree too that these young troubled girls don't have abortions with the intent to deny God.  Nevertheless, the act of abortion itself is sin because a life is wrongly taken.

Then too, let's not forget that, except in the case of force, they engaged in sinful activity, i.e. fornication.  The Bible is quite clear that any sexual activity outside of marriage is sin.  Of course it must also be said that the involved male is just as guilty as the woman but ithe consequences are severer for the woman.

I know that what I said is true.  I also know that truth, as hard as it may be, sets us free by making us right with God.

I enjoy your blogs.  Thanks and God Bless.....

JAnes, I'm thinking of reading President Carters new book. He is a good
man.  I posted about abortion yesterday and it got me 20 clicks and a good dose of hate mail.  This issue brings out the most hateful, self centeredness of people more than any other I can think of.

Maineiac preacher

Welcome back!

I would agree with you almost 100% except that many frightened young girls have abortions because they are afraid of what their parents or guardians will say, or because of peer pressure, or because of lack of support in their home.  I don't believe they're thinking so much about hatred towards God when they make their decision to abort.  For certain -- they NEED God like never before at this time, but so often, sadly,  Christians (and non-Christians alike) judge them at a time when they need help the most.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

fwmystic,

You might be surprised to discover that abortions are not as safe as one would assume.  They are not regulated by the Feds (!!!), and to make as much money as possible, the abortion mills are less concerned with safety and all about making money off of pregnant women and girls.

thanks for stopping and registering your opinion.

Hi, JanesOpinion
Abortion  is nothing more than legalized murder!!!  Nothing like opening with a bomb, Right?  Now comes my comments:
1  Abortion should be a key issue in the nomination of a Supreme Court Justice because
in God's opinion it is wrong.
2  The unspoken reason why those who don't want the abortion law changed is because if
it were reversed  it would show that it was a bad law.
3   Abortion  is an anti-God view held by mostly anti-God people.  Therefore, they don't
want the views of  the Godly, mostly Christians, to be law.

Thanks and God Bless.....

This is an extreme opinion ...
but I don't think you can label everyone who opposes the King as being a militant. Most people agree abortion is sad and tragic, and hardly anyone believes people rush out to see how many abortions they can rack up. The question that has always confronted this issue is whether the procedure is safe and legal, or do we go back to the back alleys.

Ach, Writeroflight, you are so right!
Thanks for reminding me.

Mr. Peanut got something else right, too . . .
His work with Habitat for Humanity over the years has been wonderful. Much better humanitarian than President.

I-Am-Free --

Come to think of it, you're the second person I've heard refer to such a thing.  My brother in law, with advanced degrees in physics, has mentioned before in passing that so many spiritual concepts can be learned from knowing physics.

Thanks a bunch for bringing that notion back into my head.  I shall have to discuss that further with him. And thanks for stopping by!

Corbin, "circus" is the right word.
Along with the other word -- "militant." As well, I pray the RINOs on the committee don't sabotage this confirmation hearing.

You are right about Jimmy!

I will add this about your question about Capitalism. Our country works as well as it does because our government laws are close to Spiritual Law. Our country does not work well when we pass laws that go against Spiritual Laws which are the same as the Laws of Physics. Freedom goes hand & hand with Personal Responsibility you cant have one with out the other.
