You remind me...
of when I was a kid. My dad would take mean and my brother out to Chamounix in Fairmount Park to play tennis. We were too young and inexperienced to play against other people, so he would set us up with a racket and balls and have us hit against the wall. Although later I grew in skill enough to play and win against other players, I soon learned that the wall was my friend. In times of stress and trouble in my life, I return to the wall, with racket and ball in tow.
