Ebb, I'll start to sound like a wild, crazy-woman if I let myself get too
wound up on this. I'll just say I participated in a research study
through the V.A. in which they were looking at similarities among Gulf
War veterans who came home with Parkinson's like symtoms and those with
Parkinson's... I invite you to draw your own conclusions.
As for your question, absolutely! I can feel my meds start to wear off,
and I know that in ten minutes or so I'll change from a confident
walker to a tipsy, shuffler. In social situations, especially
very public ones, I can't seem to keep myself from getting stressed
from contemplating the arrival of the body snatchers which makes
them bolder and exacerbates the deficiency of the pod they leave:
telltale tremor and the "freezing" episodes where I sort of get stuck
to the floor. If I am with friends, I'm usually fine, although there
are times the med just doesn't kick in for whatever reason... These are
the times when Barbed comes to my aid! Belle is more of my
conscience.

here's hoping whatever hallucinations we have are good ones
...oh and thanks for the good Will wish! By the way... PD's are becoming more "common" these days, don't you think? But do you still feel a stigma in some circles?

I never did drugs; I just developed P.D. when I was 48...
My brain is still in pretty good shape, I'm happy to report, but one
day my prescriptions will cause me to hallucinate...I can't imagine
what kind of trip that will be paired with my overactive imagination!
I'll ask my friends the next time I travel to CentaurI Nebulae!
This post has such a great message! You can put any subject into a
sonnet, Ebb! I hope Will gets to read them all!
