Kinda figured you were praying for all areas affected...glad to know for sure. Like you, I'll keep praying for ALL the areas affected by horrific drought conditions. Good to hear that you've got some chance at the wet stuff (even if it is up in the mountains). So far, no chances here...but, I know that God works in mysterious ways that I can't comprehend, so I'll keep the prayers going. (I'll just keep reminding myself that I need to have the certainty of the Yisraelites approaching the Red Sea...their certainty that the Divine would create a miracle...)

Of course you know that I have been praying for rain for both of our areas, and I will keep it up. Right now, there is a 30% chance for snow for us this week end in the high country! If we can't get it down here in the desert, then up in the mountains is almost as good, since it all ends up down here anyway.

Thank you for your comments & for visiting. You are absolutely correct, with God, ALL things are possible. Since you asked...I live between Gainesville & Sherman, TX in an area called Texoma (called that because of Lake Texoma which stretches between TX and OK). I live approximately 15 miles south of the Red River (the border between TX & OK). Your prayers are greatly appreciated...but please remember that the Phoenix area (AZ) also needs rain.

Thank you so much for visiting & for your comments. As I said in my post, I've personally experienced the power of prayer and KNOW that it works. That's why I put out the call for help -- we desperately need the rain & only by getting folks together will it accomplish the task at hand.

It is perpetually wet here. We get rain about three times a week. But, I know all too well about drought. I pray that you get relief from your situation.
