Up until recently, I thought Jack Layton...
But after he unveiled his new "tough on crime" thing, I've been a little more skeptical. I think it would be more in line with NDP policies to address the roots of gun crime, rather than deal with it after the fact. I don't want stiffer penalties, I want more recreation centres for youth to hang out at so they're not in the streets; I want more programs to help at-risk youth; I want less kids kicked out of school and joining gangs... I'm still going to vote NDP because the MP in my riding is amazing from what I've heard.
