Poetjpb and Tapsel,
I am clueless about html, etc. The only way I found to single space here on blogit is to do a "soft return": Hold the shift key while also pressing "enter".

Just in case you haven't yet figured out the single spacing for poetry, here is what I do:
Go down to the lower lefthand corner of this section and you will see a pencil and a blue < >. Click on the blue < >
Go to the part of your post that you want to be single spaced. In front of each line you will see a
in front of each line. Delete the
in front of each line that you want single spaced.
At the end of each of those same lines, you will see a
. Delete only the /p in the center of the < > on each line and in place of the /p type in br ( it will then be
) When you have that done for each line you want single spaced, click on the pencil. It should then be the way you want it unless you missed one of them With practice you should be able to do this pretty quickly.

Poetjpb,
Brr, I feel that cold spray. I had the same frustration with the spacing, finally figured it out: Hold down the Shift key, while pressing enter and do a "soft return".

Great imagery
Loved the poem. Very sensual and clear. I could practically feel the water myself.
