Peter Paul And Mary
Xeno-x: Their songs are just as relevant today as during the 1960s.

Xeno, I was twelve when I first heard Pete Seeger sing "Desert Pete." It
set my life on a course that would never change. PP&M took the sounds and concepts of the times to worl-wide popularity, and I learned to sing harmony with them.  Never forgetting!

My endeavours include a wide range of music, PP&M forever at
the top of the list...superb post indeed! (Why don't they have musical emoticons, such as guitars?) hint, hint...

i have heard of it
just haven't listened to it much
got to a mindset where i pass up all the new stuff -- some strikes me as good and quality -- but the crowd of manufactured stuff blurs the whole schmiel today and hides the good stuff.

hiding your age is bunk
what happened to "respect your elders"  I think all this trying to stay young crap is inherently disrespectful of advancing age.  I'm looking forward to growing old and getting a landscape on my face, actually.  Do you like "Rage against the Machine?"  I know it's not folk, but it is politically conscious metal rap
