Thanks. Yeah, go to HolyGrails blog. I'm sure she'd appreciate any comforting words. My Britt was a girl, her Montana was a boy. They were both cherished dogs and are both free from any pain now. I bet they're hangin out together on the other side til we get there!

Bless your heart for making the sacrifice
I know the heartache of having a beloved pet put down, believe me.  At least knowing his suffering was over at last, and that he was free, was some comfort.  I guess I should find Holygrail and say the same thing??
