It is a funny thing
some say familiarity breeds comtempt - however - I see this type of scenario often enough to say I am familiar with it. For me it has engendered a very deep love. To each his or her own hey?

Some truths are downright horrid but until we take a hard cold sober look at them, as you have done so brilliantly here, they never get better.

the glass cages are horrible. That is true. But if you read the story it is trying to who the staff as attempting to remain humane within the situation,

I wish I could get across to all mental health professionals, the police, and all concerned, that people in that state are not animals in a zoo, to remember their empathy and allow them a little dignity. I am not saying that about you, I know you have lots of empathy, but the glass cages are horrible.
