I would answer affirmative to the all your comments. And if I can help any other woman avoid the pitfalls that befell me, then I will have learned something in useful life experience. I think you hit the nail on the head. Aren't you better off without him?
His wife finally took an interest and he didn't need you anymore. Isn't that the way it is? You've found your husband again and isn't that delicious? It all works out - for the better. Your husband is the better man. You're the one who makes out. I see it that way.
