I love stories like this one. Animal Planet features a show every year
in which animal rescuers are featured. I have found cats to be very trainable; the trainer must be very patient, however! I have recently trained a feral cat - from wild to mild in six months - to come to my whistle, rather than "kitty, kitty."

ebb and flow

I just watched this afternoon a show on bobcats and lynx on outdoorlife network. I learned they strike at an average of six times before they get any prey or food.

If I could train cats to use the phone I would train them in numbers of the phonesex lines, then give the cats away.

I heard about this!  I don't think it's a bad idea, especially if it's just you and your pet in the house.
