And you, dear friend, know how to pay compliment. I am so very touched. I'm rushing to catch a flight to attend the funeral in the morning of my dad's best friend, a kind of surrogate father to me. This an taught me a lot about leadership, along with my dad. They taught me to be a leader, that it was something I was supposed to do....so your words particularly touched me as I go to honor him.....and know that my dad will very much be there, too. Happy New Year, Medusa.....may this be a year filled with much of all you desire and just enough of that you don't to keepthe days (and nights!) interesting and you humble.

Wish I could reach through here and give you a big hug.....I just wrote you one in another comment. We will get caught up.....I think of you often. I was alone last night, too...but didn't feel lonely and would have sent you an email if I'd read this then. I'm glad you got something out of this. Hit home with me. I've laways thought I was nearly fearless....however if I were I guess I wouldn't worry about getting my heart broken.....or perhaps I am just very cautious????? Good to see you on the screen again. Sitting here very alone this New Years Eve....wow I never thought I'd be lonley....not me

...i think people have "fearless hearts " in some areas but not necessarily others. I would jump off a cliff emotionally every time, trusting something to catch me, but I'm not very daring in the physical department, too much of a whimp. Happy New Year girl-friend!
