Beautiful Brisbane.
Dear Jo...first of all..Take a rest. You owe yourself a break. Do nothing for a day... I have been to Gold Coast four times but I haven't been to Brisbane city itself. One day I will go there...regards..Prof.

sounds like a place I want to visit, I also want to thank you for your comment to my last entry "What Would You Title This" but I'm not sure if that was a title you were suggesting

Wow--
You could sell this to the Chamber of Commerce. I'd like to see Brisbane some day--and also the rest of Australia.

Yes I do believe the best way we can protect our country is to be generous and open hearted with it,
Happy New year,

I like the way you have tried to appreciate life in Brisbane with that one
proviso about the hello. So you're appreciating life there while at the same time driving home the need for some thoughtfulness for the marginalised sections and their plight.

Have a great New Year. I haven't really seen too much of AU but I am getting ready to do just that,

Jo -- I have only been to Brisbane once and thought it was a very nice
city. I don't know if I could live there as the heat and humidity gets a bit much at times. I love a good winter! Mind you it ws 42 yesterday and 38 today over here! I do like Northern NSW and thought it possible that we might head over that way one day, who knows? Adelaide is not a bad place. The people are generally quite set in their ways and being unconventional is not as accepted as it is in Melb or Sydney, but Adelaide has a nice "earthy" feel. If you like stability, its a good place. But who knows where the wind might blow one day? Have a great new year!!
BTW- Thank you for your quirky De-ooo song about the scarecrow and the tomatoes! It took me a while to work it out but I eventually had a good chuckle! I enjoy the talents you bring here. All the best -- Jomei.
