Some people are just plain awful to be around. He must be one of them.
I find that there are people who think that only they are capable of doing something correctly...even machines ar incapable...trying to ignore him just because you know how he is usually doesn't work. Personally, I'd be more upset by hubby's comment, unless he said it nicely (I could hear my hubby saying the same thing which he has for the last few years and he doesn't say it in quite the nice way!) I would look for another job unless the pay is great. Good luck!
