8-ball - that is sad! I think sport is important for kids and should be encouraged.

I played sports
All the time and we had a small school so we were always short players. At least they didn't give up like our school board did to us when they took sports out all together.

So frustrating
My sons both play rugby. The older one plays in a team with a squad of 23, but they often have to borrow players as only 12 or 13 show up. I hope you manage to find your extras.
