My last rejection was kind and very helpful. You don't mind it so much when the acquisition editor takes time to give feedback and help (my last one did - and I appreciated it). I thanked her and told her I would give her an editing credit when my book is published. (again) You whim will always get credit, being my first publisher and all that. :-)

F~cking fantastic
clever and memorable! Got to admit its better than the 'same ol' dry crap of 'No thanks....just not right for us at this time.' Meaningless gibberish. Thanks for sharing and Gawd bless the creative rejectors out there!

If I were you...
...when (if?) it does get published do make sure you write back to tell them how happy you are in your new relationship, how much more attractive your new partner is than them and how they were right, it never would have worked with them. You see that now. &etc.
I'm immature and I have far too much spare time.
