The best part is, Mr. Ritter is...

...a Republican!

Just kidding. He really is, but that's not the best part, just the most satisfying.

The President and his branch of government have access to intelligence that members of Congress do not. I am not even sure that the President has to reveal all intelligence to the highest members of the Senate.

And it's strange -- at a logical level -- for the President to rely on the notion that other countries, whom he roundly bashed before the war, believed the same thing. Even if it were entirely true, it would still be a dumb argument. "Look, these idiots believed what I believed too!"

Well, that would make you, Mr. President, what?...
