Family, the ties that bind us. We all have someone in our family that we worry about the same way. I too will be very interested to see how your relationship evolves more.

The bonds that bind us are indiscriminate, usually of dysfunctional origin and upon examination lack the healthy cohesiveness that we were seeking by allowing them power in the firs place. Healthy relationships are the exception not the rule. Sometimes people find that the relationships themselves were not worth it when they examined them closely. I've learned that the only relationships I tolerate now, are those based on a respectful shared truth, not dysfunctional emotional cravings. Be that as it may, your sister is a special case, but truth and honesty are still the solid foundations necessary for this relationship to grow. Good luck! Animals are so much easier because they are so much more honest than humans.
