Don't be so sure, katray. Red is only fading in the oval office, and just
barely.  The GOP isn't going down without one helluva fight.  Scandals come and go, and the GOP is a propaganda monster that has proven its ability to deflect bad press and press on (no pun inteneded).  But as for advancing personal opinion, you are correct.  A year ago, stating one's opinions seemed to have a 50-50 chance of ensuring that a Secret Service agent would show up at your door or being jailed for voicing anti-Bush sentiment.

and thanks for the link. A year ago, I would have been very hesitant, hell fearful actually to locally advertise my feelings about this administration, even in a joking way. Red state cornfields here. But now, not so much; red is fading pretty quickly.
