my point was people cannot convince you. They do not have the power. I am willing to bet throughout your life you have heard some very good and convincing arguments for my particular beliefs. I have heard some very good arguments for atheism, but I will not budge.
and the same applies to non believers. They will not budge. Humans were created to believe and have faith, and not waver.
that does not mean I will not share or explain my faith with those who I detect are honestly seeking to draw close, or debate my beliefs to a degree from a perspective of differing theology. But some people are simply baiting or antagonizing Christians for sport or agenda, and immature christians take the bait.
