songbirdshafer, aww, I understand!
We love them...those simple souls even when at times we wanna strangle them!  I do love my Kitty Lippers, but I swear, she sure tests my patience DAILY! Then, she can just be so cute!

Sounds like my HoneyBear
HoneyBear is incorrigible, but I love him anyway.

I live too far out to send him to obedience school, but then, they'd probably expel him. LOL!

Dances, trust me, you DON'T want a pet squirrel!

They don't make good domestic pets. I only rehab and release them. Yes, they are fun, cute, playful, and have their own personalities, once they start to mature, they will tear the place up! They have very sharp nails, too! Ouchies!

K, so as far as that quote, if you do want to use it, it's fine to use my real name (Heidi Chambers) and I'm ah-hem, 35 years young.

Spitfire, Thank you for your comment on my post about kissing your pets.  This is a comment that I made after your comment to me and I wanted you to have it here in case you did not come back to my post muser, I would like to say that Spitfire is absolutely right, I did get a bit dramatic in the post.  Though all of those things are definitely possible, there is a very low incidence of catching a disease from ones pet.  This is especially true if one keeps the pet clean, the litterbox cleaned regularly and is careful about washing hands afterwards, keeping doggie droppings picked up after walking doggie and also very important, making regular visits to your vet with your pet.   I think that you, and what you do, are great.  I would be able to do the things that you do if you were my teacher.  I do care (but, I don't think I will ever be kissing animals.  It is not my bent.)

Thanks, Offbeats....
But it's MY fault that the pic isn't showing up cause I accidently deleted it from my pic site (hosting pic site) But, yeah, Lindsey had her entire ear covered in white paint...the goon.   And, yeah, I've heard SO much from SO many people how beautiful Oregon is. I just hope I can find a decent paying job there! Yeeks!

I think she and Squeaky were carved from the same piece of stone!
Everyting you write about her reminds me so much of Squeaky.
