Regards A Day In Court!
Dear Dennis,
Peace of Christ be with you. I was glad to see that you mentioned the victim, ( of Mr. Kolbe's crime) even if only in passing! I'm sure this is the lowest time of her life also. I don't know if Mr. Kolbe is guilty or innocent, but hopefully if he is guilty he will take full responsibility for his actions and offer a sincere apology to the "alleged" victim. Isn't Mr. Kolbe the "alleged" criminal? If he is innocent of this crime, than the woman owes him an apology. He also owes his wife an apology, for commiting adultry. You are correct in saying Mr. Kolbe has himself in a mess here, but if he forced himself on this woman (there must be some evidence of rape to bring the charge) than he needs to make things right. I guess what I am tired of is, how society always seems to take it lightly if the criminal act was done by some celebrity, and the victim is made out to be the criminal, or at the very least a liar, or she caused it to happen so she's to blame. I wonder what Jesus would say. Sorry Dennis I can't relate to Mr. Kolbe. I can relate to the victim. Mrs. Kolbe is also a victim and I admire her standing by her husband, even if she is blinded by his charm. God Bless You, JoEllyne, LMC
