Nah, Quirky...
It wasn't sweet enough.  It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the "right" kind of sweet.  The kids liked it, and it's more then edible, I think next time we'll make it with half sugar and half splenda to even out the sweetness issue.

lol Spitfire!
Yeah, baking for the neighbors...  I'm not at all old fashioned, but I think it's something nice to do to introduce yourself!  :)

Sorry about your family, Temple...
Eh, Turkey Day with parents and stuff isn't all it's cracked up to be, anyway.  Even if you are thankful for them, they still bug the ever living crap out of ya!  :)

mmmm...apple pie sounds really good--does it taste okay with Splenda?

Rach,
It's kinda funny to hear you say you're baking for new neighbors, but that's so cool! I hope you and your family have a great holiday.

I'm glad things are going well for you.
This time of year is too hard for me, especially with my Mom flaking out.  I just sort of pary for a quick road to January. So, I will just stick to what I'm thankful in this moment...Petie (the dork), Scrapper (who's hair is ALWAYS messy...kills me), and my city beautiful sunrise.  It's allll about moments right now.  Have a great holiday.
