I keep telling you
He's more than a cat. He's lucky you were there to curb him. There's a story about a cat who was going into the drain after something fishy was drained down and got his head stuck. It has a happy ending, but was a long ordeal for the kitty. Mugwort's like any child, I guess; someday he'll grow up.
