I had an elder sister but, at four years older, we didn't have much in common though we're closer now. I do wish I'd had a younger brother but not meant to be, I guess. Thank you for reading

My mother had something like 5 miscarriages before she had me. When I was born my father decided she had been through enough so I was an only child. I can certainly understand, but I often wish I had brothers and sisters.

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 5 years. I have one child from a previous relationship, but, we have none together. I commend you for standing by your wife, as a woman who has been through this, I can truly tell you that it makes her love you all the more.
