- Go to All I want for Christmas
Actually...I wouldn't mind a cold spell, in fact I can't wait to go home to NY for Christmas! Call me a masochist, but where I live you never really need to wear hats and gloves....and I love shovelling snow!
*patiently awaits men dressed in white to take me away in a straightjacket...*

If Helen laughed AND baked a pie, then I thank God all the more for my
ability to make a rhyme! Yes! If Max and I should ever travel to your neighborhood on this planet, we would love to meet you both. As it is now, Max and I are honored to know you through our mutual friend Mr. Blogit. We delight in your creativity , and proclivity for the written word! We fully include Helen, as she is obviously your inspiration...we are honored to count you among our friends ...and we are blessed. Whether on this plane...or in Heaven..we shall meet face to face!

Thanks for the wonderful poetic comment muser!
muser dear, this much is clear
your message makes us smile
Helen laughed; it gives us cheer
To know you spent such a while
Writing down for us your dreams
Imparting to us lovely thoughts
Making clear God’s plans and schemes
And how leaves figure in the plots.
But, alas, neither of us paint
We got the leaves all raked
Helen helped, she did not faint
And in the kitchen, pie she baked!
We think the world of your great poem
Were you here, we’d welcome you.
We’d love for you to visit our happy home.
Tell us if you ever pass through!
Love in Christ

With what you say I YEA also
But the seasons in a circle go
'Fore spring can come the leaves MUST blow
A warm cover make so seeds can grow
Underneath the winter's snow
So Spring's new life can make us glow
In taking turns the seasons know
They work God's plan, dear Ebb.and.Flow
An idea for you I have, although
So impatient fits you will not throw
'Twill help winter be a friend not foe
Hang canvases on your windows so
You can paint upon them lawns of green
Upon which not one leaf will blow
But tulips scattered high and low
through which you and Helen can tiptoe
All winter in yor own spring scene
