Lilane...I recently encountered this experince at a highschool football
game, IN THE GRAND STANDS. A group of high schoolers were spewing cuss words as people (young and old) passed by. It was kind of unnerving. I cuss amongst the company of close friends, don't get me wrong, but I try to watch what I say in public. Does the cussing (highschoolers) reflect their listening preference? Maybe, maybe not! I think it reflects first what they hear at home and second how they talk to one another at school. My son let the word fuck slip out the other day when he stubbed his toe. When my he looked at me and saw my eyeballs bulged out and lying in my lap he said, "uh, fook?"
