Afghanistan
Afganistan. It's even a poetic word, at least these days. What were you doing there? Bet I know. Ever read Tim O'Brien's THE THINGS THEY CARRIED? It's prose poetry and brilliant grunt experience in an inspiring example of writing. Might find it an inspiration?

kind of a sad poem
I really don't like the f word in a poem but I know it is popular...
You did a good job of conveying harsh feelings though, that aside...

Whew, Inked, you had me worried
I was afraid you were leaving Blogit for good. I stop by periodically, I'm glad to see you're just taking this blog off. Good luck with those poems, I hope it goes well.

I'm so excited you're going to venture out of Poetry. Wait, that didn't
come out like I meant it to. I'm glad you're spreading your wings and dabling in something else. I love your poetry, but I'm also excited to see what else you're all about! This is cool!

And, thanks for the last piece of poetic eye candy!

There's nothing wrong with changing things up a bit. You may discover you like writing other things as much as the poetry. Just have fun! See ya around!
