- Go to THIS ONE'S FOR GOMEDOME (whom I nickname "Hermann")
If I might add..........
Jude 13
They are wild sea waves, foaming with disgraceful deeds; they are stars that have wandered from their courses, and the place reserved for them is an eternity of blackest darkness.

Thank you for this honest and sincere admonition, Ariala.
I have only read a few of gomedomes' recent entries. He struck me as a man in need of some serious spiritual attention. But I now understand from what you have said that he has been bearing the brunt of some pretty hard-core Christian warfare. The battle that Christians wage is not a flesh-and-blood battle, as you well know. But rather a spiritual warfare. There is a lot of intellectual baggage that people carry which inhibits them from making a decision for Christ. This is the type of thing that the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places prey upon. I think my words are inspired by the Holy Spirit. But I appreciate your sensitivity, Ariala. Thank you for taking the time to caution me about rankling gomedome. I care about him, as I do for all people everywhere who have not yet entered into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I know you appreciate the sincerity of my motives. We have always been candid with each other, and I look forward to continuing our relationship, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. I am aware that you, too, care for and are only out for gomedome's best interests; although we may differ in our approaches, I hope you respect and value my integrity.

Ebb, if you've been reading him, he's already made it clear that many
others in his family have been doing what you're doing and saying the same kind of thing. I really think it's doing more harm than good to harp on him like this. I think what is actually happening is that Christians feel it their duty to warn him, rebuke him and tell him how wrong he is, to relieve themselves from their own guilt or maybe it's out of fear from God's wrath. Gomedome already knows the message and has been told his destiny is in hell, by well-intentioned people...I believe if I was treated as he has been, I might feel the same as he does.

Ariala
I believe that sometimes we must be cruel to be kind. I don't intend to annoy as much as chastise and rebuke, and you are right, I am operating out of the best intentions: sowing seeds of wisdom which can be watered and increased by God to bring about the salvation of a lost soul. It is my prayer that gomedome will repent of his foolishness and accept Christ as his personal saviour.

I'm sure you mean well, but how do you suppose this poem would do
anything but annoy the person you're writing it about?
