Interesting facts....
I'd think that having aborted one child, a mother would look at the lives she now has responsibility for as precious. Guess this is a lot more complex than I realize - not that abortion is an easy choice to make or to live with.

Sean, thanks for your comment. I know there are so many women who feel this is the only option for them which is why I'm thankful for the counseling that Crisis Pregnancy Centers do. They provide alternatives! They let women know that there ARE other options.

the very sad thing is that there are so many, many people who would give anything to adopt that infant. There's NO REASON TO ABORT ANY INFANT!

How does someone who's murdered their baby ever emotionally deal with it?
I don't know. It's the worst possible decision/mistake/sin a person could make. I know some people have mourned for years and it's helpful but what about those who 'bury' their feelings about it? It's got to come out some how: anger, depression, rage, apathy, ugliness, over-eating, etc.
Hard post but necessary because I think it will be helpful for people.

This sounds like some pro-abortion double talk to me. Janes you go on and tell the facts. There are many reasons people do not want a child when they get pregnant, to little money, to little time, job pressures, social pressures; that does not mean that you have the right not to love and care for this child. You can change that opinion immediately upon hearing you are pregnant.You don't not want the baby, you don't want the added encumbrance. Set your house in order. Do what you can about all the things that will put more stress on you after a child is born. If you are not married and don't want children, I suggest you give up this little entertaining romp called sex.
Unless you have some other issue it is possible you can get pregnant any time you have sex and that can lead to murder.
