Xeno-x -- well hello world - wake up - reality is calling
You are definately on the right track. What we have today in terms of beliefs and the "holy days" commemorating important dates, has a lot more to do with ancient politics, the "blending" of differing beliefs and the constant re-editing to appease particular segments of society, than it has to do with any kind of truth. Sadly, people do not want to hear about this and great efforts have been made over history to whitewash it all. Efforts from an ongoing state of denial to far more pro-active endeavours, such as destroying all conflicting documentation. Fortunately, not everything was destroyed, some records, though very scarce still exist. It becomes obvious to those capable of looking at it all without bias, that what people believe today is one huge concoction.

Xeno,
I'm an Adventist.   Yes, September is correct, from what I've read and studied too.  I never made the astrological connection, though.  Interesting.
