I think that you might be referring to two things at the same time
rules and conventions.
Those that can't blaze their own trail get nowhere in life
Those that follow rules that are instituted with love for the good of the community would be doing a sensible thing
Hmmm nice trick but I think everyone knows that many have headlines intended to get us to click and thus I thought guess that is what it is for,
