Yes I think it is the same thing, and I do think we all have at least one, either a spirit guide or an angel that is assisting us.

I wonder if there are numerous spiritual beings or spirit guides
(perhaps I'm confusing the terms; is it the same meaning?) Do you believe we all have at least one nearby... Thanks for the post Quirky.

It would be illuminating, that is for certain.

That is a gifted person who can do such a thing. I wish we had a Samuel around here, it would be very good therapy. Lord only knows why I do half the crapola I do...it would be interesting to find out!!

that's a perfectly understandable perception. I do think, however, that if you were in the presence of an entity like Samuel you would be able to feel that he was all about love, you would be able to know and feel he was absolutely not demonic.

you know what I've had to fight??? The belief that was instilled in my as a child by fanatical religious parents...about it being demonic...al that paranormal stuff...I'm working on it. I'm so open minded and yet I still cling to that feeling of wrongness and danger behind it...babes I'm sorry about the comment...I do love you and hope you're ok!

Quirky -
I remember my first experience like yours. It opened me up to a whole new universe of ideas, concepts and truths. It truly helped me begin on my path many years ago. I'm so glad you've been able to experience this to help you grow.

Truth is strange, when it is contrasted to what humans believe is true.

Okay...feel free to ask me any other questions too, if that will help you to understand it.

Yeah, if only we as humans could remember the things we know as spiritual beings, and the things we have learned in prior lifetimes...that would make life a lot easier eh?

Quirky. I'm here and I've read, but I'm going to go to bed tonight and
get up tomorrow and read this again.  It just didn't sink in and I want to under-stand it.  Till tomorrow,

Great Work Quirky...

Glad to read these posts, and see it grow.  I feel we do pick our life experience before our body is chosen, and work through many lives on a specific theme.  Unfortunately once in human form, we forget, especially as we grow and mature.  This is quite interesting and so helpful especially now through such chaotic times for our world.  Thanks for sharing this and the many other great posts here.  I'm so glad to see this come out.

Also, Congrats on the freelance work for a toy catalog.

Yes, I understand and agree with what you are saying. However, in this case, my friend was a full-body channel, meaning that her consciousness fully removed from her body, and was replaced by Samuels. That's not to say though, that he didn't use the particular, specific words that would be able to be understood by whoever was his audience at the time.

Words-- channeling is about the medium of words...

and since the entity is limited to one extent or another by the vocabulary of the medium, and the medium's language, sometimes terms are coined to say most nearly what the entity means to convey.  Some existing words already have such a patina of connotation, or previous usage for specific other concepts, that new words are better able to communicate the information.

When I have done this sort of thing, I experience a kind of sorting-through of my vocabulary, to find the nearest, most accurate terminology.  Sometimes a concept is expressed in a short list of words that all contribute to the understanding of the intended meaning.

I wasn't suggesting that at all...just wanted you to know where it came from. It's certainly not something one hears every day, and it might even have a different interpretation than the one I gave it.

Quirky,

Oops, didn't mean to suggest you made it up sweetie. Its like one of those type quotes you want to roll around on your tongue like good wine to decide if you really like it or not. Sorry. Shadow

well, I didn't make it up, that's the term my friend used, and I can only assume she got it from Samuel...but of course, who really knows? ;-)

Quirky,

Actually, I was just questioning calling the experience by the title of "soulular evolution" more than the concept. That's a interesting way to describe the challenges. Shadow

Quirky, I just commented in your previous post...
but I want to share with you that I have a feeling right now of such elation!  It's not just being happy or pleased in the here-and-now, I know this feeling for something greater...  Just chatting with you about this, I am sharing in the experience, and blessed by it...  as spirit, I am giggling with glee!

Shadow--
My beliefs are very similar to yours. I do think we have already agreed to certain things before we take a body...but I think that everyone, regardless of whether they are an old soul or a new one, would be on a soulular evolution. They are just at different levels.

Ciel--
Absolutely correct! You've described it very well, which doesn't surprise me. With your experiences, I would totally expect you'd "get" this.

Quirky,

Soulular evolution? Well, I can't deny that there are people who might need assistance if the souls were very new or inexperienced. Maybe that's why only certain people are chosen to be assisted or to assist. I think that older souls who have existed in different planes plan, to a certain degree, their next experience before they actually become a part of that experience. They plan not so much events, but the different facades of emotions to experience. EX: Maybe they wish to understand evil or hate in a new prespective to strengthen their soul and knowledge, whereas they in the last venture experienced loyalty or extreme love for the same strengthening purpose. Each soul must figure out through trial and error, through actual participation as to what makes the universe "click" in my opinion. Shadow

Great stuff, Quirky!

A lot of what you are describing here shows Samuel to be an entity that respects free will, and validates the process and experience as something extra-ordinary.

Entities such as this, and some of us who do similar work from our own bodies, have the ability to share the view above the maze, so to speak. It is not about telling people which way to choose to turn, but to give some idea of the overall patterns.  In living a life, we are in the maze, and sometimes need the encouragement to know we are not actually in the same dead end we have seen before... or to know that we are!
