Due to the sensitivity of the authors mission and location, the author is using the pen name An American Soldier. An American Soldier is 26 years old and has served 4 years as a combat engineer in the US Army Reserves and over 3 years active duty. During his time as a reservist he graduated from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado with a BA in criminology and a minor in psychology.
