Tragedy looks melancholically beautiful here.

Brisbane,
Good idea.  You never know what might come up.

ahhhh that is life

everyone has an ego that comes back to bite them,

(some peoples bite them harder than others)

I have an exhibition on tonight whre I am shortlisted and I find it hard to attend such getherings.

The energy takes away my feelings of serene comfort.

Maybe I should take journal notes and do Art Therapy process on that event.

Jo,
I wish my ego would die.  It keeps coming back to bite me.

I guess it was a death mask

Death of my Ego and the beginning of a new chance at life. (Couldn't find an emoticon that expressed that one! LOL)

Thank you,

Jo

BrisbaneArtist,
This is beautiful. It reminds me of an ancient death mask of an Egyptian queen.

Will the famous authors' quotes make you humble, you asked?  I think you are already humble---and honest, which is why people respond or vibrate with what you say, create and share.  But read the famous author's quotes anyway.

Some are good for a laugh.

Fascinating work Brisbane Artist
Fragile, yet there is a strength between the lines. Excellent portrayal - you are very talented!

Existential Mutterings...every thing is meant to teach us something if we are teachable?

Brisbane
Expressions, in all forms, can always teach us something. This is interesting work.

hahahah

don't worry about my pains and difficulties!  As I work through them they drop away.

Wish the weight would drop off that easily.

I am having a great life.

Hope you are too, (thanks for saying you like my art too!)

Jo, not to minimize your difficulties and experiences,
but in a way we're all like that, eh? Patched together with screws and nails and such, full of imperfections but still beautiful (as is your art work) and, I believe, loved immensely by God. Thanks for sharing your work!
