Quirky, I am delighted for you that you have found this experience!

You will be able, finally, I suspect, to transition away from feelings and beliefs about what happened, and what means what, from the past.  It seems to me one of the main reasons this has been offered to you.  This can be the means of transcending what you cannot manage-- mainly because it was never yours, really, but you got caught up in someone else's experience and consequences.

I have found that even when we cannot verbalize quite the question we need to ask, entities such as Samuel understand from observing our energy what we are trying to understand, and respond directly to that.

Fancy--

I believe that when you are truly ready, it just happens. Call it Divine Intervention or Divine Timing if you like.

I can't speak for anyone else who channels or the beings they channel, I just know that Samuel was all about love and helping humanity, nothing even remotely scary about it!!

Quirk
I'm rather skeptical about ever trying this...precisely because I believe in it and feel that once you open the doors to it you are more and more vulnerable and receptive to those kind of experiences...and honestly it would scare the living daylights out of me. However, I've been dying to know if...Yissel...is out there. I've been dying to talk to her..one last time...to know that she's in a better place. I just don't trust anyone down here...so many phonys out there...it would be highly dissapointing!

Wow.
That's pretty amazing.  Reminds me of a spiritual healing I got one time from my then boyfriend's mother. She did a distance healing (she was in NY, I was in NC), but she told me to go lie on the bed and wait. Well, I did and about 10 minutes into it I began getting very, very warm (I'm cold-natured), then out of nowhere I just started bawling..couldn't stop crying...for no reason. Then the phone rang....it was her "Oh my God, are you ok? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for you to get upset."  Talk about creepy. How the hell did she know that? Then she told me all kinds of things about my childhood that no one could possibly have ever known...private moments when I was often alone. She made a believer out of me. I understand what you mean. It's cool and yet hard to wrap the mind around at the same time.

A tangible, positive effect from experiencing the truths beyond

Amazing; I must find the time to open myself up more to this. Thanks for sharing Quirky.

ooh, and that reminds me...
with the holidays around the corner, do you have any toys of note in the 5 to 8 year old range? Yeah, I know it's off-topic, but I have been meaning to ask since you mentioned that you "play with toys" so to speak,,,

Quirky

Thanks for answering questions...it seems like people ask the questions that I, too, want answered.  It's great that you were "moved" into going the direction of your best interests & what you loved (writing about toys) just by considering the words you heard.  Sounds like good advice well taken on your part.

Shadow and Blanche,
I don't even know what a tongue-speaking experience is!!

If that crazy witch had touched me, I would have knocked the "&^%$" out of her! Church or not. I'm very evil about my space being invaded anyway and that would have been too much. shadow

Myddrin and Quirky.
I had a tongue-speaking experience in a Pentecostal church, too. What's worst was this lady grabbed my head, that and that it was four hours long and I had to wait for a ride.  Bad juju.

gee--why didn't you find that pleasant? lol.

posted by Julia. on October 29, 2005 at 2:49 PM | link to this | reply

Quirky,

That would be a great experience rather than the psycho that just walked up to me in the middle of service, got right into my face, and begin started screaming at me in gibberish. Shadow

well, what you experienced is not the same thing, really, and actually it's totally opposite ALL of my experiences with Samuel and MAFU. Their whole purpose for speaking to humanity is to help them.

Quirky,

My cousin's church has members who "speak in tongues". One of them went into their trance, or whatever you prefer to call it, and gave me a message that absolutely made no sense whatsoever. That's about as close as I've come to having any type of spirit speak to me and its was too scary. I'd rather they not come back personally if all I'm gonna get is threats and negative warnings about my soul. Shadow
