Hi reality,

yes, I've got a quick pup!  She's a mixed breed mutt of most definitely unknown heritage, about 65 pounds and over 10 years old but her age certainly is now slowing her down!  She's a great gal in spite of her psychopathic tendencies.

Thanks for stopping by!

You have a quick pup!
My Scottie couldn't catch a cold, mostly because he is nearsighted.

graceful,

I grew up in CA on a ranch and we had two cats.  One was such an excellent hunter that she rarely came to the barn to eat cat food because she got all the nutrition she needed from her prey.  We'd often see her patiently waiting by the hole of some unsuspecting gopher.  That meat eating, hard working feline lived for over 20 years and did a wonderful job of keeping the gopher population in check.

The other cat (daughter to above cat), though, thrived on cat food and did not lift a paw her entire life.  Such fascinating critters, eh?

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh Taps, you are so right!

There's a cat at one of my facilities who sure gets her panties in a wad if we don't kowtow to her.  She thinks that MY chair belongs to her, to the extent that we've gone to calling it "Shelby's chair."  Lucky for her I don't spend much time sitting in it, because it's quite evident when she's unhappy with me for using HER chair!

JanesOpinion, a cat would have brought it to you and laid it at your feet and expected you to give praise.

Yes, that I can imagine, particularly with cats!

what impressed me too was that after she killed the poor mouse, she just left it.  The killing was over with, the fun was done.

Thanks for stopping by!

I live with two cats and they are definitely psychopaths...when I get real
lovey dovey with them, hubby reminds me that if I were a mouse, they wouldn't treat me so lovingly and with respect. LOL
