I believe you are doing a worthwhile thing by doing that exercise. We do forget to be kind to each other.

In a certain way, yes. Like when it is a request from a family, it is a chore. When it is from a friend, it is quickly done without further complaints. In issues that really matter, family still look out for one another more than for friends.

Treat everyone as family - that's a good way of getting people to cohere for the good of all.
