Oh well, Taps, you know what they've discovered about coffee -- it's higher in healthy flavanols (sp?) than tea, so you should live forever.  Unless, of course, all that caffeine does a number on your heart!

I love chai green tea, JanesOpinion.  But, as usual I'm sitting here drinking black coffee.   Its a habit to make coffee in the morning.  And, once I make a pot, I drink the whole thing.  At least its a small pot.  I threw the big one away for that reason.

Taps, yes, very sad

and this sort of addiction is fully preventable by limiting the availability of one armed bandits.  However, we all know that will never happen thanks to the addiction the local and state authorities have to the money made from gambling.  All they can see is "free" money.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm having chai green tea this AM.  Would you like some?

I did not know this, JanesOpinion.  I hate to hear it.  Recently here in KC a woman came out of one of the River Boat Casino's here, in a big depression over her loss build up and drowned herself in the moat.   I know people who have ruined their lives from the addiction to the one armed bandits.

Well, and it goes to show

how hard it is to be in the military -- often away for such long periods of time from love ones.  They succomb to boredom and look for ways to fill the void.  It's got to be a difficult place to be in -- which is one HUGE reason why God should NOT be banned from the military.  Thank God chaplains are still allowed!!

As ever, thanks for stopping by.  I'll serve you some tea next time.

Janes
Another good post. You are perking! Good job. As for the gambling they should also get rid of the drugs. If they are going to put in addictive devices they should keep counseling going all the time and hourly 12 step programs. Satan takes a swat at everybody on anyday. It is so troubling that no one gives a 'whatever'.
