Agreed, whimsystoryteller. I am a avid fan of Dr. Cosby. More people like
Cosby, Oprah, and Obama need to speak up on behalf of the successful black person, talk about initiative, focus on pride and education. The black community doesn't need people like Jackson making excuses for failing and Farrakhan pointing his finger at whitey. I wrote a
post on Cosby when he first started this controversial line, for which he has been villified by some of the media and not a few black leaders for being insensitive to his own people, for being a traitor to the black community. Bullshit. He's an intelligent man who sees things for what they are and bluntly laid it out for all to see. As the adage has it, the truth can sometimes be painful.
