Poet,
By the look of things, you have your bases pretty much covered.

I adore

Teaching but I must admit I write and draw with my students all day.

Trained as an Art Therapist I throw it out there and we respond to each other

I want to study motivation in depth,

Jo

well it is a different experience, and I like to stretch myself
It is fine tuning me ... I have to really hone my craft carefully so that the students clearly understand me.

poetjpb - some good tips there
How do you find the online teaching without any face-to-face contact? I mean, I know that is the whole point of online teaching, but just wondering if you miss the human element to it?

And MayB - well done as well for the scholarship! Hope you enjoy the course and find it useful.

Poetjpb, good tips. I started teaching journalistic writing this year and now I am doing a teaching course about college teaching for which I was awarded a scholarship. I'm now covering curriculum design - I also have to incorporate theory as it is a college course. I can't see myself teaching all the time but I thought that I should get a qualification as I think it will be an ongoing sideline
