...well, that is the big question. but the way the US is going right now, the draft seems to be a not-too-distant prospect.

I read an article t'other day and i may get the bones of it up here. It basically helps to make my position clear; I'm not against The Military at all. I'm against the militarism currently being displayed by Bush.

Oh yes, I knew all about this...

uh, okay, not so much. Lately I've been trying to escape political reality because it's too depressing. But curiosity always drags me back.

Now you've got my curiosity piqued again...

Attack Iran? With what troops? If they wanted to do it, they might have to consider re-instating the draft! Americans would fill the streets in protest if that happened. Maybe that's what it would take.

For my part, I want no part in a war with Iran. If my physical presence in it were demanded, then I suppose I might become even more dovish...

Imagine me saying: "I was wrong! Let's give peace a chance!"
