great story
It's always kind of funny to hear parents met. My father "picked up" my mother at a free wine tasting. And he just went for the booze.

Whacky,

That is a sweet and inspiring story.  I wonder how many people know that much about how their parent's met. I don't.  I met a woman at the nail salon the other day who told me that she and her husband married 3 days after they met and they've been happily married for 57 years with 3 kids.  Go figure! Thanks for the welcome back.

My dad told me about the one and only blind date he ever went on - it was an absolute failure and he swore never to do it again!

Whacky46
They look like a handsome couple, Whacky46.  Are you going to weave their story into one of yours?

Look ! I want to particularly congratulate you for praising your parents. It is a thing that has become rare today in our world that has nothing respectful for their parents. Well done.
