FW--I'll be moving in with one of my parents in order to care for them--
not for financial reasons. I am living with Jake for financial reasons. there is a difference. Mom and Dad may live another ten years--God willing--so as soon as I can afford to do so, I will move out of here. Is that any clearer? Thanks for stopping by.

Hear me out!
You are living with a man you don't love and plan to move in with one of your parents for financial reasons once one or the other "kicks the bucket", but you're doing this out of duty instead of convenience?

Hollee, your post gave me goosebumps. It must have been difficult to tell your Dad the real reasons behind your relationship. I know I find those things difficult to talk about with my Dad. I think no matter what your relationship with your parents, they are still your parents and, as you say, the love is there.
